2004 Scholarship Winners

This years winners are:
  • Beenish Bhaidani, Colleyville Heritage High School, Class of 2004
  • Caroline Gladkowski, Fossil Ridge High School, Class of 2004
  • Robert Williams, l, Class of 2004, Class of 2004
  • Rudagara Nsabimana, l, Class of 2004, Class of 2004

The Colleyville Lions Club Scholarship Committee selected four students to receive a $1,000 scholarship. Each year the club provides $4,000 to $8,000 in scholarships to high school seniors. Seniors from Birdville, GCISD, HEB, Keller and Carroll ISD are eligible to apply. Students are selected based academics, community activity, career goal, financial consideration and individuals that have exhibited the Lions' pledge "We Serve" through their actions and plans.

The Scholarship Committee of the Colleyville Lions Club announced the winners of the 2004 Scholarships. The Colleyville Lions Club awards the $1,000 scholarships each year. High School Seniors from GCISD, Carroll ISD, HEB, Keller ISD and Birdville ISD are eligible to apply.

This year’s winners are:

Caroline GladkowskiCaroline Gladkowski is a graduate of Fossil Ridge High School finishing with a ranking of 4th out of 630. She was named a Horatio Alger National Scholar. Caroline came to the United States from Poland with her parents at the age of 4. She learned English in ESL and overcame many hurdles in accomplishing a distinguished academic career while helping her family financially. Caroline plans to become an attorney and children’s
advocate.

Rudagara Nsabimana Rudagara Nsabimana from Fossil Ridge High School. Rudagara came to the United States from Burundi, Africa in 2002. She was unable to speak English when she arrived to seek a better education for herself. Her parents and family remain in Africa. She plans to be a nurse and help children in her country. The Fossil Ridge Faculty voted Rudagara as a Top 10 Student this year.

Beenish BhaidaniBeenish Bhaidani is a graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School where she excelled in academics and community activities. She plans to become a doctor and devote here service in India to help prevent disease and deaths of children.

Robert WilliamsRobert Williams is a graduate of L.D. Bell High School where he completed requirements for the International Baccalaureate. Williams will major is physics at Abilene Christian University and plans a career in law enforcement forensics.
